Corporate social responsibility
We make packaging data the foundation of sustainable packaging. That's not a slogan. It's the reason Packstract exists. In everything we do, including how we use AI, we look for the better alternative.
The better alternative, including in AI
AI is the engine behind our work: it turns photos and documents into usable packaging data. But fast and heavy isn't automatically better. We choose deliberately: where a smaller, more targeted language model does the job, we don't reach for an unnecessarily heavy one. Working energy-efficiently isn't a side note next to the technology for us, it's part of how we build it.
For people and nature
Our mission goes beyond compliance. Accurate packaging data is the basis for packaging that uses less material, is more recyclable, and leaves less behind as waste. That affects more than your filing or your discount. It affects the rivers, the soil, and the people living with the consequences of packaging waste. That's why everything we do stands for the benefit of people and nature, not just on paper.

What we support
We also invest in green social causes ourselves. Two organizations we support:
Justdiggit restores drought-stricken landscapes in Africa using nature-based techniques (such as waterbunds and bringing back grass and trees), to structurally restore the soil and climate.
Plastic Soup Foundation fights plastic pollution in water, soil, and air: for the health of people and nature, and against the plastic soup threatening our oceans.
Questions about how we put this into practice?
We're happy to talk openly about it, from our AI choices to why we support these causes.
